Orientation

• Many current CELUSA/SAIBT students volunteer to help welcome new students at each orientation! They help assist students with their transition to Adelaide.
• Orientation is a fun day of activities. You get the opportunity to make new friends before beginning your academic studies and CELUSA.
• We have an Orientation Go App! This handy app helps you to prepare for your studies at SAIBT with helpful checklists about visas, travel, accommodation, facilities on campus and much more. Click here or on the banner below to download the app today! (available for iPhones only at this stage)

• Passport
• Letter of Offer/Electronic Confirmation of Enrolment (eCOE)
• Contact details (Australian address and phone number, permanent overseas address, name and e-mail address of next of kin)
• Pen and paper

Orientation is the beginning of your journey at CELUSA/SAIBT.  It is where you will meet new friends in Australia and other key people who will help you to become academically successful.

• Enrolment, involving course selection and timetable
• Obtain program information
• Learn systems for successful study
• Obtain your student ID card
• Apply for your Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC) card
• Be introduced to a range of CELUSA/SAIBT services and facilities
• Purchase textbooks (if applicable)
• Tour the campus and library
• Meet CELUSA/SAIBT staff

All students must attend orientation. Students who arrive late will be required to attend a late orientation session - you will not be permitted to enrol without completing orientation.

If for any reason (including late issue of a visa) you are unable to arrive in Adelaide before the end of the first week of semester, you must immediately request that your offer of a place be deferred to the following semester. Any fees that have been paid will be transferred and no financial penalties will apply.
