City West campus

Located in the centre of Adelaide's major arts, culture and entertainment precinct, City West provides a hub for artists and academics alike, and an atmosphere that is ripe for the exploration of ideas and the pursuit of excellence.

The campus is located on the western edge of the CBD, just a short stroll along North Terrace from Adelaide Railway Station. City West is within walking distance of a range of nightclubs, bars, live music venues, cafés, restaurants and alternative fashion stores.

Degree programs at City West include business, law, commerce, management, marketing, information systems, Australian and Indigenous studies, tourism and hospitality, visual arts and design and architecture. Students benefit from modern facilities for teaching, learning and research.

The campus has a permanent public sculpture displays and it neighbours the Lion Arts Centre which includes the JamFactory, Mercury Cinema and other galleries and arts organisations. Complementing the campus' artistic surroundings are the Kaurna and Dorritt Black buildings, each of which have provided City West with innovative and state-of-the-art facilities for visual art, design and architecture studies.

City West is also home to the Hawke Building which features the Anne & Gordon Samstag Museum of Art and Hawke Centre. The Hawke Centre was named in honour of Australia's former Prime Minister.

City East is home to the Centre for English Language in the University of South Australia (CELUSA).

City West is easily accessible by bus, with many routes stopping on North Terrace and Currie Street. As aforementioned, the Adelaide Railway Station is also just a short walk up the road.
