Welcome to SAIBT!

We're pleased to see you are looking for information about SAIBT and its highly respected partner, the University of South Australia (UniSA).

For students from countries other than Australia, SAIBT is an excellent pathway into 2nd year of a UniSA Bachelor degree in almost any discipline. If you're thinking about doing a university degree in Australia, but are worried about how you'll cope in an Australian university, or if you don't quite have the entry grades to get you directly into the University, or if your English isn't quite good enough, then SAIBT is the perfect solution for you. At SAIBT you will be studying on the UniSA campus, using UniSA facilities, and be taught by UniSA teachers, but you'll be in much smaller classes and will get more help than you would go directly into the university. Over 90% of international students who complete their program at SAIBT go directly into 2nd year at UniSA. They also find Adelaide a comfortable, safe and cost effective city to live in.

For Australian students, SAIBT is your opportunity to get into UniSA's Business, Engineering, Health Science, IT or Arts program, even if you didn't achieve the right ATAR to get you directly into the first year of the degree.

By taking the diploma with SAIBT, you will experience an excellent transition between school and university, or if you haven't studied for a while, a more supportive experience to ease you into university, with small classes and extra support to get you up to the right level within 12 months to go into 2nd year. You could even achieve this in 8 months if you are able to complete the diploma in two semesters.

Apart from your academic achievement, at SAIBT we also care about your personal and social welfare and provide access to personal counselling and a varied social, sporting and cultural program, as well as providing help in job searching in the Australian context.

We hope you'll find the information you need on this website. I look forward to personally welcoming you to the SAIBT community and wish you the best of luck for your future studies and career.
